What you'll do

Day 1

7:30 am : Pick-up at your Parisian address.

9:30 am : Guided tour of the Reims Cathedral and the Art-Deco Carnegie library.

10:30 am : Guided tour of Tattinger Champagne house. Located on the site of a 13^th century abbey, underground cellars are in sumptuous Gallo-Roman chalk pits forming part of Champagne Houses registered on the Unesco World Heritage List. Several tasting at the end of the visit. In case of no availability in Tattinger we would go to Mumm or Pommery cellars in Reims.

Lunch in the famous Brasserie Le Boulingrin in Reims. Not included.

2:00 pm : Visit of the Basilic Saint-Remi in Reims (XI century).

3:00 pm visit of “Pressoria“, the new sensorial experience with your five senses. Geology, climate, the hidden sides of the vine, the harvest, champagne making, the effervescence… With this recreational experience, these words will take another dimension. Located at the foot of hillside and classified as a UNESCO heritage site, in the commune of AŸ-CHAMPAGNE. Pressoria has inhabited an old pressing center of Pommery, now transformed in a heigh-tech museum of Champagne process !

6:00 pm: Arriving at Etoges castle hotel and restaurant. Château of 17th century, an authentic registred monument. 28 bedrooms (4 stars hotel). Gourmet restaurant. Spa, jaccuzzi, massages. More informations about Etoges. Not included. Make your reservation here after the Champagne Tours booking confirmation. You can cancel your booking at less 4 days before with Etoges and cancel everytimes with Champagne Tours.

Day 2

9:15 am : Pick-up at Etoges castle hotel.

9:45 am : Visit the small village of Hautvillers where the abbey church of Dom Pérignon and its tomb are located. Point of view on the vineyard.

11:00 am : Visit of a family business of winemakers, among our favorites little Champagne houses. We are use to go to Voirin-Jumel house in the lovely village of Cramant, or Vollereaux in Pierry, Godart and sons in Moussy ( with high environmental value certification). The advantage of these family producers is that they own the entire process in their small domain: press, vats, bottling…

1:00 pm : Lunch in Epernay in a traditional restaurant with a large choice of menus. Not included.

2: pm : Wander around Epernay on the Champagne avenue where the most prestigious houses such as Moët Chandon, Laurent Perrier, Boizel, Venoge and Castellane are aligned. Possibility to enter the shops and bars of these Champagne Houses.

3:30 pm : Stop at the lovely village of Châtillon-sur-Marne village. Contemplating the view on the vineyard.

6 pm : Arrival in Paris after 2 hours on the road.

Cancellation policy

A deposit of 10% is required at reservation. You can cancel the rest (90%) one week before .

Payment

The payment of the deposit is made on our website at reservation. The rest by credit card or cash the day of the tour.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests can attend but a minimum of 2 is required. Travelers must have sufficient mobility to walk in the countryside, up and down stairs. Cellars are quiet fresh, 51° Fahrenheit, take a jacket !
