Deciding whether to take a one- or two-day excursion is always a dilemma when staying in Paris for less than a week. If you have just one day and want a change of scenery, keep in mind that the Champagne region is only an hour and a half from Paris. This allows our agency to pick you up right at your hotel at 8:00 AM, so you can begin touring a prestigious Champagne house (such as Taittinger, Ayala, or Moët) by 10:00 AM. The tour and tasting last nearly two hours; descending 20 meters underground into galleries carved out of the chalk is a truly unique experience. However, enjoying the rolling vineyard landscapes overlooking the Marne River—after a delicious traditional meal—is equally essential. More informations here.

Honfleur port, 2 hours from Paris.
Normandy is a bit further away; if you choose our gastronomic tour through meadows and half-timbered villages, it involves a two-hour drive. A morning visit to a cider producer and a cheese maker, followed by an afternoon tour of the seaside resort of Cabourg and its Belle Époque villas—it’s all perfectly doable!

Our guide Julien in Beuvron-en-Auge, place for the lunch 🙂
The D-Day landing beaches are three hours from Paris, and Mont-Saint-Michel is four hours away. These trips are feasible if you spend the night in the medieval town of Bayeux, where our agency can recommend a hotel to suit your budget.
